About the Department of Physical Chemistry of Fossil Fuels of the Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry
named after L. M. Lytvynenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
Pursuant to the order of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dated December 1, 2017 No. 658 “On evaluation of the activity of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2018”, the expert commission in 2018 conducted an evaluation of the effectiveness of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Fossil Fuels of the Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry named after L. M. Lytvynenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the period 2013–2017. According to the results of the expert review, to the category of strong units working in the relevant field of science at a high international level and having practical results of wide national significance, i.e., to category “A” , assigned to 100% of the scientific divisions of the Department of PhChFF InPOCC NAS of Ukraine, and the Institution itself was assigned to the “A” category, according to which the Institution occupies a leading position in many scientific directions, has significant scientific and practical results of its activity, recognized at the highest national and international level, has a high scientific potential and effectively uses it, has an exceptional impact on scientific, technical and social development, is integrated into the world scientific space.
Pursuant to the order of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dated February 5, 2020 No. 93 “On the organization of state certification of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2020”, the expert commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine conducted an assessment of the effectiveness of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Fossil Fuels of the Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry named after L. M. Lytvynenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the period 2015–2019. According to the results of the expert review of the Department of PhChFF InPOCC NAS of Ukraine was assigned to the II classification group with a rating expert assessment of 3.47, according to which the Institution is a stable scientific institution with appropriate scientific potential, is a leader in certain areas of conducting scientific research, scientifically – technical (experimental) developments, implementation of specific types of scientific and technical products and shows activity in integration into the world scientific space and the European research space, taking into account national interests.
